During our recent stay at the Lagg Hotel on Arran, we were pleasantly surprised by the great value for money offered at this comfortable old establishment. the top-quality food served in the restaurant exceeded our expectations and the portions were generous. the breakfast options, both hot and cold, were a nice touch, offering something for everyone. the location of the hotel, although a bit away from the main part of the island, was perfect for our needs as keen golfers. the proximity to various golf courses made it an ideal choice for us. the only downside was the slightly dated appearance of the bedrooms, but this was easily overlooked given the overall value for money. We highly recommend the Lagg Hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay on Arran.
